Clever cat turns off owner's morning alarms

One cat owner was wondering why her alarms weren't going off in the morning, so her roommate put it to the test.

Posting to TikTok, creator @eyeveesoup recorded evidence her roommate's cat was turning off her alarms almost instantly after they went off.

She watched in amazement as the cat not only turned off the alarm but somehow unlocked the phone, pawing at it frantically.

In another recording, the roommate tried different alarm sounds, but it seems the cat hated them even more, even going as far as deleting a few alarms while digging at the phone.

Commenters found the cat's antics hilarious.

"She tried to DELETE them not just turn off," wrote one commenter.

"That cat had a corporate job in a past life. He's over it," said another.

"OK but this might explain why my alarms don't go off-I have two cats. Coincidence? I think not," theorised another.

"My cat loves the alarm (because) it means we get up and feed him," one commenter mentioned.

"Imagine having to explain to your boss you were late to work because your cat turned off your alarm," wrote one commenter.
