Robbie Williams' kids give him shock wake-up call: 'Rise and shine'

Robbie Williams has been rudely awakened by his cheeky kids - and the entire incident captured on video.

The clip, which has been posted to Instagram by the singer's wife, Ayda Fields, shows the children wake their dad up with a mischievous prank.

The video begins with Robbie's kids carefully pouring water on him from a bottle while he cries, "No, no!" After feeling the water he rips off his black eye mask and looks at his laughing family in disbelief. He gives a mocking "ha ha ha" before turning around and putting his eye mask back on to get some more shut-eye.

His wife captioned the video: "Robbie was not so happy when he got his wake-up call this morning from the kids with a drop of water. Rise and shine Princess… it's 12pm!"

People loved seeing the fun family dynamic.

"Eyemask straight back on…," wrote English actress Susie Amy.

"Family fun... but poor Rob," laughed another. "Love hearing all the kids laughing," said a third.

"I remember him waking you up with an air horn, so he should think himself lucky," declared another fan.

Others were concerned that Robbie was genuinely distressed by the prank.

"The more I watch this, the more I hate it," said one fan. "Me too. Think it's awful," commented another. "Poor Robbie."

"I hope he's okay because that shaking doesn't look good," said another.

When he is awake, the former Take That star can be quite the active dad.

His wife Ayda recently posted another video showing Robbie spending quality time, "imparting some of his football knowledge on Charlie."

The video shows the star receiving the ball from his young son and encouraging him to continue trying.

"Very precious moments," one person commented on the sweet moment.

"If men only knew how much this makes their women so happy," said another.

Robbie and Ada share four children together Theodora, nine, Charlton, seven, Colette, three, and Beau, two.
