Ricky Martin enjoys beach day with his twins amid controversy: 'Proud dad'

Ricky Martin is enjoying some quality time with his twin boys ahead of their upcoming birthday.

Martin posted a sweet snap of his soon-to-be 14-year-old twin sons, Matteo and Valentino, at the beach learning to surf.

"Great beach day! Birthday week begins for my oldest sons," he posted in the caption, as translated from Spanish.

"Thanks to my brother Alecs for the good vibes of the day and teaching Matteo and Valentino to play with the waves," Martin continued. 

The Livin' La Vida Loca singer added "I'm the luckiest dad in the world" along with hashtags #Surfing #surfingislife #prouddad.

Fans of Martin rejoiced at the happy snaps.

"Wow, they stole your face!!! Adorable and adorable how they look at you. Mini older copies of you!" said one commenter.

"Your biggest and best project," posted another.

Along with Matteo and Valentino, Martin shares son Renn, 3, and daughter Lucia, 4, with husband Jwan Yosef.

Martin's son Matteo also recently joined him on set for his upcoming music video. Matteo was snapped sitting in the Director's chair smiling and giving a thumbs up. 

"Look who decided to accompany me to shoot my new video," Martin posted, as translated from Spanish.

The sweet family snaps come as the "painful" and "devastating" harassment and incest claims levelled against Martin by his own nephew were thrown out by a Puerto Rican court just weeks ago. 

"Now, my priority is to heal. And how do I heal? With music. I cannot wait to be back on stage. I cannot wait to be back in front of the cameras, and entertain, which is what I do best."
