Modern motherhood celebrated in portraits

A US photographer has taken a series of portraits of mothers and their children to highlight diversity among modern mums.

Celia Sanchez, felt she didn't fit in as a young mother, so she created the project called Devoted, to highlight a different style of motherhood.

She has certainly succeeded in blowing out of the water our stereotypical view of what we believe a mother should look like.
