Eliza Curby is a parenting blogger who knows her stuff. The woman has birthed three babies in under 12 months.

Yes. In under 12 months. Eliza, who hosts the parenting blog Twingenuity, gave birth to a daughter and 10 months later, twin boys. Not surprisingly she is very aware that pregnancy and birth can change your body and in some pretty significant ways. Unlike many a mama, Eliza is utterly okay with that and has shared a snap to her Instagram account to prove it.

The picture is of her belly and clearly shows some significant stretch marks and sagging. But Eliza is not ashamed - and neither should she be.

The accompanying post revealed just how strongly she feels about the appearance of her post-baby body.

"Just because," she wrote.

"Because I'm not embarrassed of the scars my body now carries. Because I'm proud of what my body has done for me. Because many women feel the need to hide it. Because famous women post 'look at my body just three weeks postpartum' and portray unrealistic images of what it means to be a mother.

"Because I feel beautiful in my own skin - because there's a lotttt of it!

"Because beauty takes many forms. Because I can.

"Because you should also be proud. This is me ... because I love my body."

Eliza, who lives on Sydney's northern beaches, gave birth to her daughter in January 2016.

Just six weeks later she discovered she was pregnant with twin boys.

The fit, young mama handled her pregnancies and birth well. But she has developed stretch marks and sagging which is not surprising. It happens to many MANY women, whether they have multiple births or babies close together or not.

Eliza says she is genuinely not embarassed and definitely not ashamed. If anything, she's proud. And she wants other women to feel the same.

And to that we have only this to say - YES!
