Mum shares simple hack to remove toddler's drawings from walls

A toddler can do a lot of damage with a texter when their parents aren't looking. Drawings all over walls, cabinets and any furniture that's within reach - leaving markings that mums and dads struggle to clean up.

One mum however has shared her clever hack to remove toddler's drawings from walls and hard surfaces - and she uses something we all have sitting in our bathroom.

After finding a super easy and effective way to clean the markings Jessica Sedgewick took to her TikTok account to share it with fellow parents.

Her secret weapon - toothpaste.

In the video, the mum shows a cabinet covered in black texter markings after her toddler decided to practice her drawing skills on it using a Sharpie.

She then takes a tube of Colgate toothpaste, covers the markings with the paste and wipes them off using a cloth. The texter comes off so easily that it almost looks like magic.

Jessica, who is mother to an almost two-year-old girl, captioned the video, "Toothpaste takes Sharpie off things tip for mums with monkey toddlers!".

Toothpaste is known to be a very useful cleaning solution around the house and many TikTok users have shared what they use it for.

One user @scrubshanny recently uploaded a video cleaning her dirty sink with toothpaste. She rated it 'a 10/10 clean' after the sink was left looking polished and spotless.
