Mum films daycare pick-up every day for five years

There is nothing more heartwarming than the uncontained excitement of a young child who has seen their parent arrive at the end of the day. One mum found the daily daycare pick-up of her son so special that she recorded his reaction to her arrival every day for nearly five years.

She has now put her favourite videos together in a clip for her son Jaxon's 5th birthday. The sweet video shows the little boy smiling and running towards her with joy as he grows through the years.

Going by the name @TeesePeese on Twitter, the mum posted the video with the caption, "I really do love this".

The little boy shrieks with joy when his mum arrives and reaches up for her to pick him up and cuddle him. In some clips he is so excited that he trips over while running towards her. The mum said it was both his and her "Best part of the day!".

Since it was posted to her Twitter page, the video has been viewed over two million times and left people smiling from ear-to-ear.

One person shared the video with the caption, "Aw! You are literally the light in his eyes and bounce in his step, I love this so much".

Another wrote to the mum saying, "This might be the cutest thing I've seen all year. Thank you for sharing. You have a beautiful son and you must be an amazing mother. This brought a smile to my face and gave me baby fever."
