The Oscars are an exciting time for anyone who has a love of film, and this family is no exception.

Maggie Stornio and her three children, Sophia, Sadie and Sloane, spend each awards season recreating iconic movie moments from each of the Best Picture nominated films. Warning: cuteness overload ahead!

It all started seven years ago, according to Bored Panda, when Stornio received a black tutu for one of her daughters that was inspired by the movie Black Swan.

Stornio snapped a picture of her baby daughter in the tutu with the hashtags #blackswan and #oscarbabies and posted it to her Instagram not thinking any more of it.

The response to her photo was so overwhelming that it sparked an idea for her to keep recreating Oscar movie moments.

And the family’s loyal followers on Instagram, Tumblr and their website: Don’t Call Me Oscar, are so glad that she decided to keep going.

Gradually, as the children got older, the photo shoots grew to full-scale productions with props, detailed costumes, and even some extras.

As described on their website, this is “one family’s journey through the Best Picture nominees” and it’s a journey that we are keen to keep following.

Their images are certainly just as entertaining as watching the Oscars themselves and we know that we will be turning our attention to this family for the next awards season.
