New mum Magdalena Roze's empowering tribute to her "wobbly tummy"
Popular presenter Magdalena Roze wants people to know what her body really looked like after giving birth to her second child in June.
In a candid Instagram post, the new mum shared a throwback photo of her "wobbly tummy" three days post-partum, keen to relieve the pressure women feel to force their bodies to "bounce back" after pregnancy.
"I worry about all that ridiculous pressure to 'bounce back' as if it's a badge of honour,' she wrote.
"Bounce back to what? For we can never be who we were yesterday, let alone post pregnancy. And that’s a good thing."
The 36-year-old former weather presenter – who also has a two-year-old son Archie with partner Darren Robertson – gave birth to baby Charlie June 2 and says the photo is from just after she gave birth.

"No I'm not pregnant with our third, this is a few days after Charlie's birth, my huge belly that had nourished life for 40 weeks, slowly deflating, job done," she wrote.
PODCAST: On this week’s Honey Mums podcast, Rob Sturrock talks to Deb Knight about his experience as a stay at home dad, and we delve into the realities of an extreme type of morning sickness called hyperemesis gravidarum.
"It's so magnificent it makes me want to cry. I wasn’t sure if I should share this as it's so personal but I've been a little introspective this week (pesky lurgy/lost voice)."
Roze then went on to recount a touching story which occurred "a few weeks ago".
"A young girl came up to me & asked if I had a baby in my belly," the TV personality wrote.

"I explained that I don't but I had a baby a few weeks ago & it can take a while to change shape.
"I wasn't embarrassed or self conscious (which surprised me) & showed her some pics of me pregnant & the baby, & we talked about birth. She then touched my wobbly belly and said 'it’s amazing.' I really hope she feels that way about her own one day. Because it really is the most magical transformation."
