Mum and professional decluttering expert Anita Birges shared her clever trick using Kmart wall hooks. TikTok

"Using a $10 wall hook from Kmart," she said before breaking down the clever tips on Instagram.

1. Use hooks. On the back of a door, the inside of a cupboard or on the wall. You want to give the kids realistic strategies they can manage with ease

2. Install solutions at their height so items are easily accessible to them. This also helps with their independence

3. Show them what you have done and why. Kids like to do the right thing and if you explain the system, eg. "Your little handbags now have these great hooks to live", they are more likely to maintain it.
