Erin Molan's Google search history perfectly sums up life with a newborn

For better or worse, Google's search history function can reveal a lot about the person doing the searching.

It's essentially a map that plots the various thoughts and queries and very specific health concerns and completely random interests that cross our minds at any given moment. 

For NRL Footy Show host Erin Molan, her recent Google searches provide solid proof she is well and truly in the grip of 'mum life' these days.

(As if giving birth to daughter Eliza Emily Ogilvy last month wasn't sufficient evidence of the fact.)

She then posted the results on Instagram, and, well, they say rather a lot about what the new mum has on her mind.

Her most recent queries are "Does onion flavour breast milk?" and "When do babies sleep through the night?", with "newborn wind" rounding out the top three.

Ahh, the glamour of life with a baby.

"Sweet mother Mary... who am I?" the sports reporter pondered in her caption.

Clearly, Molan's baby-themed questions resonated with the fellow mums in her Instagram community.

"Welcome to motherhood! The Googling is next level," one wrote.

"Ohhhh I remember those days! Now it’s 'are all 18-months-olds turds?'" another joked.

Others shared the results of their own panicked online searches.

"Can relate to this! My current Google search has been 'is two months old too early to start teething?'" one wrote.

"I couldn’t count how many times I desperately searched for advice on when babies sleep through. There are 50K answers, none of them helpful," another said.

Even Larry Emdur weighed in, asking, "Does onion in breast milk cause newborn wind? I think is the big question."

This all goes to show that although every parent is different, one thing unites them all: the urge to turn to Google for advice.
