There are Disney fans and then there are the truly Disney obsessed. One mum-to-be who is definitely in the latter category plans on travelling to Disneyland when she goes into labour in an attempt to give birth at the iconic theme park.

The US woman is so obsessed with the franchise that she revealed to her family that she wants her baby to be one of the few to ever be born in the park - convinced it will mean a free lifetime pass.

"Apparently, she believes in that myth where if you give birth in Disneyland, you or the baby will get a lifetime pass, " her concerned sister wrote when she shared the story on Reddit

The woman explained that her pregnant sister has always been a big fan of everything Disney.

"She's one of those Disney adults that just try to visit the park whenever she has the funds and time to. She is planning on naming her child something Disney related once she finds out the gender."

While taking inspiration from the franchise for the baby's name isn't a big deal, her plans to birth the child at the theme park have her family worried.

"She seemed really firm on the idea, but I kinda just bluntly told her she was a stupid for even considering the whole thing," the woman wrote.

"She's a grown adult risking her life and baby just for a theme park."

The woman also believes her sister also hasn't considered how unpleasant giving birth at the park would be - not to mention the lack of privacy.

"It's literally full of screaming kids," the post reads.

Fellow Redditors agreed the mu

"For someone who's pregnant, she seems very misinformed on how the whole birthing thing works. It's not like in the movies where your water breaks and baby pops out 5 minutes later. Very few people have short enough labour that they would manage to have the baby at Disney," one person commented.
