Dad transforms 'unusable crawl space' into amazing kids' hideaway

One mum has revealed how her husband transformed a useless corner of their house into a beautiful memory for their children.

US mum Cami Boehme showed TikTok the way her husband turned a "totally unused, tiny, random and unsafe crawl space" into a magical hideout for their twin toddlers.

In the video, the mum opens the door to reveal an adorable cubby for the kids filled with toys and books.

"Now we can't get them out of here. And when I open the door they shoo me out. It's their very own space and they love it!" said the mum in the caption.

"Adorable, the space and the tiny humans," said one commenter.

"That's an awesome room for the little one to play in!!!!" wrote another.

"Cool. They'll remember forever!" another commenter said.

Others shared their memories with similar spaces.

"Reminds me of my great grandpa's old house. He had a closet that had a small empty space at the top, he built more cabinets in it as 'stairs' so us grandkids could crawl up there and then put toys and books up there," shared one commenter.

"He passed last year but visiting him was always such a fun and cool experience."
