Coco Austin slams critics for 'messing with her mothering' after pram debacle
Coco Austin isn't holding back in defending herself against critics who claimed pushing her six-year-old daughter in a pram was inappropriate because of her age.
The mum, who a wife to actor and rapper Ice T, initially received the negative comments on an Instagram photo she shared of the couple and their daughter Chanel on holiday in the Bahamas.
In the photo, Chanel is sitting in a stroller while her parents pose for the snap. Some followers declared she was too old to be pushed around in a pram, comments Coco says are 'ridiculous'.

"A stroller really? Let that girl grow up," one commenter wrote. Another said, "Isn't she like 6 yrs old! Should she be out of a stroller by now?"
In response to the judgement, Coco took to Twitter to express her frustration over being criticised for something so absurd.
"Oh lord!! Really people? The world loves to criticize literary everything I do!" she captioned a Tweet where she shared an article speaking about the comments.
In a follow-up post, she wrote, "This stroller thing trending right now about me using a stroller to push Chanel around is ridiculous! Isn't there a war & mass shootings going as we speak & you'd rather mess with my mothering?"

The mum has now received an overwhelming amount of support online from fans and fellow parents who agreed the negative criticism was uncalled for.
"You're a great Mom. We can see she's not enjoying shopping so if she is tired, then that's the best option," one person wrote. Another said, "People need to mind their own business. You keep doing what's best for your beautiful daughter and family."
After addressing the controversy, Coco moved on very quickly, continuing to post holiday pictures alongside her daughter enjoying a day at the Baha Bay Water Park.
It's not the first time the couple has copped flack over their parenting choices.
Last August they defended their decision over extended breastfeeding after Coco admitted she still breastfed her then five-year-old daughter.
