Chrissy Teigen's surprise Mother's Day gift request

Chrissy Teigen has a hilarious request this Mother's Day, and it's a message for her celebrity husband, John Legend.

Legend shared a sweet carousel of photos to celebrate his wife, but it seems Teigen wasn't entirely happy with his photo selection.

"Happy Mother's Day to @chrissyteigen, my love, my partner and the best mummy our kids could ask for. We're so grateful for you. You make all of our lives better – full of love, joy and adventure," Legend captioned the post.

But underneath, Teigen promptly commented: "The ultimate Mother's Day gift would be carousel photo approval!!!"

Teigen glowed in the six photos posted selected by her doting husband, but some have speculated about which of the photos she didn't quite love.

"The closed eyes… how does he not know?" one fan joked, referring to a candid photo of Teigen in a glittering gold gown where her eyes were shut closed.

Teigen then took to her Instagram Stories to send her message further, writing: "Give the mother in your life the ultimate gift: carousel photo approval. You men are doing us dirty."

Another photo showed Teigen half-ready to go out, still with rollers in her hair but smiling with her adorable daughter Luna, 6.

The photo is definitely a less posed photo of Teigen, but still manicured and stylish.

Nonetheless, the star's message is incredibly relatable – even Chrissy Teigen doesn't like it when her partner chucks a photo up on social media without her giving it the nod.
