However, one baby has gone viral on Twitter for being the undisputed doppelganger of the Hollywood star Woody Harrelson.

Danielle Grier Mulvenna is the mother to the adorable nine-month-old, Cora, who is at the centre of the viral tweet.

"Basically we never saw the resemblance until our friend Chris pointed it out at a BBQ. Then once we took that photo of her laughing it was undeniable," Mulvenna told TODAY in an interview.

Mulvenna then posted a smiling picture of Cora accompanied by a still of Woody Harrelson in Zombieland which amassed over 20,000 retweets and 400,000 likes.

"OK but how does our daughter look like Woody Harreslon" the tweet's caption reads.

Harrelson saw the tweet and posted it to his personal Instagram page along with a poem called Ode to Cora in the post's caption.

"Ode to Cora/ You're an adorable child/ Flattered to be compared/ You have a wonderful smile/ I just wish I had your hair."
