Most parents are proud to teach their kids about their career choices but Hollywood actor Channing Tatum worries there's one role he's not looking forward to his daughter discovering.

Tatum has told Seth Meyers the day his daughter Everly sees his Magic Mike moves will be "horrifying".

The actor, 44, has revealed to Seth Meyers that he had to pull out a whole new style of dancing when he took his 11-year-old to see Taylor Swift in concert.

Tatum admits seeing the concert with his daughter was a very different experience to when he saw it with his fiancée Zoe Kravitz.

"Seeing it with your daughter is very different because you know, you gotta like go in. I was dancing like I'd never danced before," Tatum told Meyers.

"I'm so grateful that she doesn't know how I dance."

But he says until then he's adopted a style of dad-dancing that his daughter seems to approve of.

"It's a lot of like, this stuff and I'm just gonna keep it in that area," Tatum said, swinging his arms around in circles.

The star shares Everly with ex-wife Jenna Dewan, who he met on set of Step Up in 2006.
