Celeste Barber calls out Tammy Hembrow for 'dangerous' post-partum weight loss
Australian comedian Celeste Barber has criticised influencer Tammy Hembrow for her drastic weight loss following the birth of her daughter just 12 days beforehand.
Posting on her Instagram stories, Barber shared a screenshot of one of Hembrow's latest posts showing off her flat stomach just 12 days after giving birth.
"No disrespect, well done on your success but this is dangerous," Barber wrote in the caption.
"Women should NEVER feel as though they need to put on activewear and show off their bodies, to prove a point ESPECIALLY 12 days after having a baby. 12 DAYS!"

Barber, who has two young sons, then shared her own experience just days after giving birth.
"Jeez I was sh---ing in a bag and screaming into a pillow after having my babies. How we look is irrelevant. Be kind to yourselves, moisturise your nipples and unfollow accounts that make you feel like s---!' she said.
The video Barber is referring to, shows mum-of-three Hembrow posing in front of a mirror and holding the front of her leggings away from her stomach.
"12 days Postpartum. I stayed as active as possible before & during my pregnancy on my @tammyhembrowfitness programs," wrote the now mum-of-three in the caption. "I honestly feel like my core was at its best in my whole life just before I fell pregnant with Posy so I'm excited to see what I can do this time round after baby number 3! Can't wait to get into some hard & heavy TammyFit at 6 weeks

"PSA every mother's postpartum journey is different!" she continued, "Please DO NOT be hard on yourself or compare yourself to others. We all have different genes, different lifestyles, different circumstances etc. That being said I work & have worked extremely hard and want nothing more than to motivate and inspire you!"
People had mixed reactions to the fitness influencer's post, with some jumping to her defence.
"If you're gonna comment 'this isn't fair it's setting unrealistic expectations for mothers' just stop. This is Tammy, not you. If it's unrealistic for you then cool but don't hate because this IS her reality. Some people snap back quicker than others," one wrote.
"It's so hard not to be hard on myself. I've seen my body at its absolute best, and i feel like I'm so far from it. I know I just had a baby, but I feel like I should've done more during my pregnancy. Now I'm overweight and my doctor keeps pointing it out," shared another mum.
Since welcoming her newborn daughter Posy two weeks ago, Hembrow has been updating her followers with pictures of her family, including her kids Wolf and Saskia from her previous relationship with Reece Hawkins, her fiance Matt Poole, and their newest addition.
