Bride breastfeeds baby during wedding vows

A bride has been photographed breastfeeding her baby while exchanging vows on her wedding day.

Danielle Katsue, 24, fed her three-month-old son Kaua in front of guests, while standing next to her new partner Kale Rios, 26.

Wedding photographer Monica Carvalho shared photos of the ceremony held in Cuiaba, Brazil on her Instagram to show that women could breastfeed their babies “no matter the time or place”.

She told the Mail Online she had initially been worried how people would react to the “beautiful” images.

“I was scared at first but I was pretty sure people would find it as beautiful as I did,” she said.

“Fortunately the majority of of people loved the images. Many said they were moved by the images, which is enough to know that I did a beautiful job,” she added.

While some people were critical of the images, Carvalho said the majority of feedback had been positive and she hoped it would encourage other mums to feel comfortable breastfeeding any time and place.

“This is perfect! So pure, so much love. Just the way it is supposed to be,” one user wrote.

“Beautiful,” another commented.

Katsue told The Independent she "loved our baby being present right at the moment" she married her husband, adding it made her son feel like part of the wedding.
