Breast milk vs. formula under the microscope

An American mum has posted a video of her own breast milk under the microscope - and it's pretty fascinating.

Jansen Howard got her microscopist father to get a scientific view of just a droplet of her milk. It clearly shows the intricate makeup of this powerful food for growing babies. 

The Colorado Springs based visual artist who has painted a breastfeeding series, wrote:

"You guys... this is SO COOL!!!!!!!! This is the living liquid gold we call breast milk in motion!!!! My dad is a blood microscopist and this is a single drop off my breast milk under his microscope!!!! It's miraculous and it's ALIVE tailored to my babies needs at this moment!!!! Absolutely amazing!!!"

With over 1.6 million views of the teeny globules of goodness, people are intrigued by the unusual footage, with over 2000 comments.

Next, Jansen decided to post a video of baby formula under the microscope as a comparison and really drive home her point that our human breast milk is truly unique.
