Boy runs to mum, ignoring dad on the way

You know the feeling, you've been separated from your tot for the day and can't wait to have the bundle of joy wrapped safely in your arms again.

Their shouts of glee as they exit the school gates is music to your ears. You hold out your arms for your baby… and, oh, what? He runs right past you into the arms of someone else.

This is exactly what happened to a dad in Fortaleza, Brazil when he was totally snubbed by his excited son.

Arriving at school to pick up their child, mum hung back while dad walked up to the gate, arms happily outstretched to greet his son.

However, when the child exited the school, he proceeded to run past his dad, straight towards the loving arms of his laughing mother, who was filming the entire situation.

Hiding his apparent rejection, dad then turned his back towards his family and made small talk with other parents and teachers.

Oh well, there's always tomorrow, dad.
