The video of this baby seeing his parents clearly for the first time will melt your heart.

Emil Rosenhøj got his first pair of glasses recently. And, his mum, Christine, has captured the adorable moment when the five-month-old tries on his new specs and glances up at his parents for the first time.

The 40-second viral video shows his mum placing the glasses on his small face. While he looks a bit confused at first, he soon looks up at his parents before breaking into a huge ear-to-ear grin at them. 

Ms Rosenhøj, from Denmark, describes it as "an amazing moment". 

"It was like being a mum again. It was the first time he looked at me and recognised me," she tellsToday.

While Emil had always been a "happy boy" before he got his new specs, he was now the "most happiest boy in the world", his proud mum says.

"He laughs and smiles all day long."

"Everything is different,” she adds. "He’s looking at everything now — the dogs and his toys — he smiles to us when we talk and play. He is laughing a lot more now because he can see our faces."
