Baby's adorable reaction to seeing her reflection for the first time

Watching babies grow up and become aware of the world around them is one of the many joys of parenthood. One mum has shared the adorable moment her daughter discovered her own reflection on TikTok.

Ten-month-old Poot had a variety of reactions when looking into the mirror - she scared herself, kissed herself, patted her tummy, played footsies and even had a conversation with the baby in the mirror.

"She's ready for a sibling," wrote US mum Abbie Herbert on the gorgeous clip.

Almost four million people have watched the video and loved witnessing the baby's reaction to herself in the mirror.

"The faces at the end are the best," said one commenter.

"She really said, 'Who is that cutie in the mirror?'," declared another.

"I wonder where my belly came from too girl," joked a third.

"If she had a sibling she would do all kind of things," chimed in a fourth.

Others pointed out the mum's use of "weeks" instead of "months" to describe her baby's age.

"46 weeks is 10.5 months for anyone who can't do the math (I had to search it up)," said one commenter.

"OK why don't you just say it in hours," joked one commenter.

"Next thing you know it's going to be seconds," another added.
