ALDI launches budget toy line including $12 Squishmallow dupe

ALDI has done it again!

The retailer has sent Aussie parents into a frenzy over their latest Special Buys product range - including dupes of various popular kids' toys.

From doll playsets and building block sets, the exclusive range is exciting mums and dads who have their eye on one product in particular.

A dupe of the highly sought-after Squishmallow soft toys that costs half the price.

Announced in the latest Special Buys' catalogue, the toys are already in high demand.

Available in stores from Wednesday, 14th June, the products start from just $9.99 each.

And parents are thrilled about the launch.

"Some good stuff here!" one mum commented on a post in the ALDI Mums Facebook page where parents were tagging each other in the announcement.

"Few cool things!" another wrote.

The one toy catching most of the attention is ALDI's Squishees which are a dupe of the popular plush toy collection called Squishmallows.

ALDI's Squishees are priced at $12.99 each and are about 30cm in size.

Kids can choose from a range of animal characters including a sloth, bumblebee, giraffe, bear and dinosaur.

The affordable price comes as a relief to parents who are used to paying up to $45 for a medium-sized version of the real deal and $90 for the jumbo size.

"They are so cute and so cheap! My kids and I are Squishmallow addicts!" said one mum on social media.

And that's not all!

ALDI's Sienna Doll Playsets are being likened to the original Barbie playsets which can cost, on average, $45 each.

ALDI will be selling theirs for less than half the price at $19.99.

And for construction-obsessed kids, the ALDI BiLT Building Block Sets are a steal at just $9.99.

The range includes a police station, modern girls, dinosaur legend or city builder sets.
