TikTok users call out influencer for 'fake' hair hack

Although TikTok has its fair share of handy tricks and tips, some are better off not seeing the light of day.

Polish singer @agbe_'s hair hack may fall into the latter category after users slammed the "colour changing hair hack" she shared.

Posting the video on Tiktok of her "hack", the singer claimed you can dye your hair with just perfume and a straightener.

In the now-viral video, the singer sprays perfume to a hair straightener, before running it through her chair, changing the colour from a bluey-green to hot pink.

However, eagle-eyed TikTok users noticed a few quirks about the video, which has over 70,500 likes, immediately commenting on the fact the straightener doesn't appear to be plugged in, and others noticing there seems to pink powder on the straightener.

"You can see the pink powder on the straighteners lol," one user wrote.

"There was pink powder on the straightener and she was holding the pink powder,' pointed out another.

Others weighed in, pointing out that it could damage fragile hair and even lead to hair loss.

"Why even do that knowing some kids won't notice it's not plugged in and ruin their hair?" another questioned. "Ugh, the things people do to get likes."

Some TikTokers decided to give it ago for themselves, taking to the platform to let people know how it worked out for them.

"I tried it, it didn't work," one user reported back.

"You really burned your hair," another said. "There's nothing to be happy about."
