Bride-to-be’s unique engagement ring slammed

A woman’s quirky engagement ring has been slammed online, after a picture of it was shared to a ‘ring shaming’ group on Facebook, with many comparing it an undesirable part of the body.

The picture shows a ring with a huge stunning ruby, surrounded by a halo of diamonds. However, not many members of the group seemed to appreciate the unique piece of jewellery, with people quick to compare it to a “prolapsed butthole.”

“It reminds me of a prolapsed anus after a power lifting attempt,” one charming user wrote, with another adding to the sentiment: “this looks like a prolapsed butthole”.

We wouldn’t know what that looks like, and we don’t want to know how these people do.

Others were a little less graphic, comparing it to an innocent lollie, writing “Is that a ring pop?” with another adding “It is obviously a ring pop”.

The picture racked up dozens of likes and comments, none of  them nice. But perhaps that is expected in the new world of ‘shaming’ Facebook groups.

Last week, 9Honey reported on a woman who was shamed for her skimpy wedding dress.

The woman, who stated she was having a beach wedding, shared a video from one of her dress fittings showing her in a tiny strapless body suit, with detachable skirt.

The one-of-a-kind dress was slammed by Facebook users, who labelled the extravagant lace outfit as “tacky”.

“You better get some clothes on before your [mother-in-law] and her family have an en masse hissy fit,” wrote one user.

“I hate it. What is with the thing around the hips? It's a no from me,” another said.

To be honest we think that as long as that person is happy, let them wear what ever they want! People are so quick to judge these days.
