Donald Trump Jr. takes new girlfriend to the White House

Donald Trump Jr. showed off his new girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, at Wednesday’s Fourth of July celebration at the White House.

The loved-up couple took to social media to share photos of the momentous occasion.

Guilfoyle posted a few photos with one captioned: “An incredible afternoon at the White House! Thankful and proud to be an American! God bless all our troops & God keep our nation safe. Happy Independence Day 🇺🇸.”

The Fox News host was warmly welcomed by President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

President Trump gave Guilfoyle an enthusiastic handshake as First Lady Melania Trump looked on, smiling.

Although many may be nervous at the thought of meeting the President, it wasn’t her first time.

Back in May 2017, the ex-wife of former San Francisco mayor and current Democratic candidate for California, governor Gavin Newsom, told The Mercury News that she was friends with Trump before he became president.

She also confirmed to the news outlet that there have been talks surrounding becoming the President’s next White House communications director.

The pair reportedly began dating in early May this year and have been spotted out together multiple times since.

Trump Jr. has also been indulging in overt shows of affection for his new love on social media.

According to The Mercury News, even Trump Jr.'s estranged wife, Vanessa, has given her approval of the new romance. Vanessa, filed for divorce in March this year after being married for 12 years. They share five children together.

With the relationship being made official, it has made people wonder how it will affect her commentary on Fox News’ The Five when it comes to discussing the Trump administration.

Despite President Trump criticising the Democrats in California, he hasn’t directly attacked Guilfoyle’s ex-husband.

And from the happy snaps on the couple’s respective Instagram accounts, politics doesn’t seem to be getting in the way of love.
