Couple marry over FaceTime after groom contracts coronavirus
A couple hoping to get married during the pandemic had to radically alter their plans after the groom contracted coronavirus.
In a sign of modern times, Justin Armstrong and wife Stephanie opted for a FaceTime wedding, saying their vows via the phone from separate rooms.
The Kansas City couple improvised after they were forced to cancel their wedding the previous month, after Justin tested positive for COVID on the eve of the event.

Stephanie married her husband in the chapel room of the hospital. KMBC
"The most important thing was: Is Justin going to be OK?" Stephanie told KMBC.
Her now husband Justin called the result "heartbreaking."
"All this bad stuff just felt like it was just raining down and I wanted something really good to come out of it," he added.
As the groom's condition worsened he was taken to St Luke's Hospital, where he came up with his unique idea for a wedding alternative.

The hospital's nurses scrambled to organise the ceremony, hosting Stephanie in the facility's chapel while Justin remained in isolation in his room.
A family friend officiated the couple's vows via video link.
The couple were thrilled to learn that their marriage was legal following the DIY ceremony.
"The point of the day is to be married to the person you love and that's what we did," Stephanie told KMBC.

The Armstrongs plan to say their vows once again in person with an intimate party for loved ones once social distancing restrictions ease in their state.
Justin hopes to be released from hospital next week in order to celebrate with his new wife.
