Internet outraged after leaked note reveals company will no longer provide staff with water
Reddit users are outraged after a leaked memo exposed a company for refusing to provide employees with water while they worked.
"We are no longer able to provide water for the team starting [Monday, March 23]," the note began.
"We have abused our privilege in doing so. Thanks, Management."

The note has received over 4000 up-votes on the online community, and was uploaded by user u/harveytheham.
"The place my girlfriend works at just posted this sign in their break room. The company had record profits last year," u/harveytheham wrote alongside an image of the note.
Reddit users were furious at the new policy and did not hold back in reading the unidentified company the riot act.

"No water? I hope that place catches on fire so they waste money having to reinstall a new sprinkler system and pay for all that water they don't have," one person wrote.
"Abused our privilege? Its f--king water. A basic human right," another said. "What's next, oxygen? F--king hell."
Other users urged the poster to identify the company, which is believed to be based in the United States, so they could properly be chastised.
"NAME...AND...SHAME," one person commented.

Other users suggested that the company's move could actually go against the rights of workers.
"It's illegal to not provide drinkable water to your employees," one person commented.
"This is against labour standards," another said. "I'd look into it. I had a former employer get dinged for not supplying water."
Others suggested a more light-hearted approach.
"Well, if all you are going to do is pee it out later, you had to know it would upset management," one user quipped.
"So make sure you take a daily dump and not flush. Tell them you're conserving water," another user suggested on the post.
