Chloe Ayling speaks out after kidnapper imprisoned: "I thought I might have to sleep with him to survive"

Kidnapping victim Chloe Ayling continues to speak out after her kidnapper was finally jailed.

Polish man Lukasz Herba, 30, was convicted over the kidnapping of the woman and sentenced to 16 years and nine months by an Italian court, a month longer than the prosecutor had requested.

The 20-year-old model, who faced numerous claims she fabricated the story of her kidnapping, said she is relieved Herba has been sentenced as now "the world can see I was telling the truth."

"It’s a huge relief because I feel like my life has been on hold," she tells The Sun. "It was six days of hell -- and then I had to deal with all the disbelief once I got home. I feel happy now that everyone knows I was telling the truth."

Ayling was kidnapped last July when she arrived at an address in Milan for a modelling job she’d been offered online. The young model was drugged, held for six days and told she would be auctioned off for sex however, was then released by her captors.

Speaking to The Sun, The Sun, e mother-of-one said she is desperate to move on with her life.

"I'm so very happy this is all over," the young model said.

''I am very pleased and relieved by the outcome of today's hearing and feel that justice has been served and I can get closure on what has been a terrible time for me.

''I am desperate to put this ordeal behind me, move on with my life and forge a new path now that the world can see I was telling the truth."

The model’s manager has also spoken out about the incident.

In a TV interview with This Morning, Ayling’s manager Adrian Sington lashed out at speculators who claimed the young model was lying about her ordeal for financial gain or that she herself was in on the crime.

"It was clear it was a completely true story. These two men jumped on her from behind, injected her with ketamine, rendered her unconscious, put her into the boot of a car. She woke up an hour into a three-hour journey, terrified. [She was] then chained to a chest of drawers!” he said.

Sington also issued a dark warning to women with public profiles.

"If you're a beautiful women and you're on a screen, by some very small number of men, you're considered as fair game," he warned.

"Sometimes these men emerge from behind their screens and their sole aim, their mission, is to ruin the lives of these innocent women."

"And the notion that they've [the women] somehow asked for it, by what they look like, or what they do, or how much they've earned, it shouldn't be given house room. It's unfair and it's wrong."

Ayling said she was willing to do whatever it would take to escape and return home to her son, telling The Sun, "I thought I might have to sleep with him to survive."
