Dad performs rope swing bungee jump while holding toddler daughter

Footage has emerged of a father doing a 60-metre rope swing bungee jump with his toddler daughter clutched to his chest.

The video, posted on Instagram earlier this week, shows Malaysian reality star Redha Rozlan standing on a bridge in Kuala Kuba Bharu, strapped into a bungee harness.

With 2-year-old Mecca Mikaela in his arms, Rozlan falls backwards off the platform, measuring almost 200 feet above the ground, and swings across the river gorge below.

In response to negative comments from his Instagram followers, he explained in his caption that his daughter had asked to do the rope swing with him and had not been coerced.

“Chill, guys,” the thrill-seeking dad wrote.

“Don’t try with your kids if your kids [are] not ready for this.”

However, the video clearly depicts she was not wearing a helmet, while her father was.

Rentas Adventures, the group who organised the rope swing jump, also shared the video of Rozlan’s rope swing with Mecca on its Instagram page.

A video previously posted on the page depicts another man undertaking the same stunt with a young child strapped to his back.

According to The Mirror, the rope swing operator said the safety equipment used was inspected by staff before Rozlan's stunt.
