Bride's unusual call out to help create 'hay urinal' for her wedding

A bride has taken to social media to ask for advice about her upcoming nuptials- specifically, how to create a DIY urinal.

The bride-to-be included a snap of what she had in mind- showing a round hay bale with funnels attached. The bride to be asked if anyone had a hay bale that she could use for the occasion.

The bride wrote "I am hoping to create a 'hay urinal' for my wedding in a few weeks."

"Hence I am chasing one round of hay roughly the size in the picture.

"Obviously the type of hay and quality aren't important just looking for something cheap."

The post was screenshot and posted to Reddit, with people slamming the idea calling it "unsanitary" and "gross".

"I don't see a hand washing station." a user commented. "And you know there will be lots of handshaking, probably eating from communal bowls of crap like potato chips at a shindig like this...pretty unsanitary".

A second commented on the smell that the 'pee-bale' was sure to make.

"You could probably smell that thing from a distance too" they said. "Like during the first dance at the reception."

"What will they do with it after the wedding?" another pointed out. "Just leave it in place to smell all summer long? I can't imagine how they would move it without making a disgusting mess".

Although mostly branded as unhygienic and a bad idea, one person did have a good point. "To be fair if the options are that or a portaloo I'd go hay" they said.
