Bride roasted over oddly coloured wedding dress that just looks stained

A bride has been mercilessly roasted after sharing a photo of her oddly-coloured wedding dress online, with many claiming it looks dirty and stained.

In a post shared to Facebook, the unidentified bride gushes about her 'natural' wedding dress, which she describes as being made from hemp.

Though her original post asked for ideas about what jewellery and accessories to wear with the dress, people couldn't quite get past the – well, we're not sure what it is – on the front of the dress.

While most brides opt for white, this woman's dress has a large reddish-brown mark that travels from the hem of her dress up to her waistline in a seemingly random shape.

A matching mark also appears on the back of the dress, though the bride doesn't explain what the marks are or even reference them at all in her post.

It lead to other Facebook users trying to guess what the strange patterns were, though none of their guesses were particularly flattering.

"This look like someone gave birth in this dress," one commenter wrote, a theory several people echoed.

Others guessed the stains could be the result of a very heavy period, though others dismissed the idea, insisting no one bleeds that much.

"It looks like a giant coffee stain down the front," another commenter said. Others insisted it looked more like a red wine stain that the bride had tried to wash out.

Another wrote: "It looks like someone drove over the dress. Why would you want this?"

But one eagle-eyed Facebook user actually recognised the bridal store the woman is standing in for the photos, revealing the dress could be the work of unique designer Wai Ching in Seattle.

Known for out-there bridal designs, Wai Ching carries many marbled an uniquely patterned dresses, some of which look similar to the one the bride has chosen.

Regardless of who designed the dress or what the patterns are, the bride clearly loves it, and frankly that's all that's going to matter on her wedding day.
