Bizarre sign at office says doctor resigned because of jealous wife

A woman has shared a photo of a bizarre sign from her chiropractor's office that suggested her doctor had resigned because his wife was jealous of the new nurse. Talk about bitter.

The sign, posted in a photo by Facebook user Susan Whitsell Rolens, reads, "Dr [Name] resigned from our office on Friday 1/18.19. The reason he resigned is because his wife would not allow him to work here since we hired a ‘female’ nurse practitioner.

"We are very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. He will not be returning to this office."

Rolens explained in the caption, "I went to see my doctor a few minutes ago to find this sign. I told the receptionist that this was the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen and asked who did this?

"She ran back told [the current doctor] what I said. The next thing I know, they are telling me I can’t see my doctor’s back up. [The current doctors] told them to tell me I have to leave."

Her post has since had over 800 shares on Facebook and 1,400 comments.

Many sympathised with the doctor who had his dirty laundry literally plastered over his old workplace. "Regardless of the reason, this sign should not have been posted. Extremely unprofessional," one person wrote.

And really, we agree. Maybe it's a good thing that doctor got out of there when he could?
