BBC presenter Louise Minchin swears live on air
The Brits: they’re just like us, but with less swearing.
In fact, when we recently interviewed the stepson of the future king, Tom Parker-Bowles, he admitted that one of his favourite things about Australia is “you can say bloody and bugger on morning telly!”
So imagine the shock in Blighty when a TV presenter - from the BBC, no less - slipped out a swear word live on air.
Sacrilege.

BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin got a little tongue-tied when talking about plans to install sprinkler systems in UK schools.
"Cliff says it's a waste of money while schools are occupied as everyone's awake and much easier to extinguish fires and evacuate in the normal way,” she explained, before slipping up:
"Ian says all schools irrespective of age should be s***… fit… fitted.”
Minchin quickly recovered and apologised to the audience, before probably trying to get on with her life and pretend it never happened.
Only, co-star Dan Walker was having none of it, and burst into giggles. Minchin then succumbed to the chuckles herself, and said: “Sometimes I should speak slower. Apologies!”
Those Brits, so quirky.
