This woman’s passport picture is worse than yours

We’ve all compared passport pictures with friends in a bid to judge whose is worst. Personally, I think mine shows my RBF (resting b---h face) to perfection...but it’s certainly not flattering.

Now, however, I consider myself lucky - because at least the government didn’t send back a warped version of myself that I have to carry around for the next ten years. US woman Chelsey Ramos wasn’t quite so lucky, though; she went to get her passport renewed before a trip to Germany with her boyfriend, and after submitting her (normal) picture with an application, waited patiently for her new passport to arrive.

However, what came back in the post was definitely not her normal picture. This is her original picture:

Her boyfriend, Reece Lagunas, told Buzzfeed that when Ramos received the new passport in the post she screamed, "Oh my f-----g God...no they didn't!"

"I ran in to see what was the matter and just started laughing," he said. "Uncontrollable giggling."

Lagunas posted the story on Reddit, where the people of the internet were seriously impressed by the mix-up.

Ramos, however, thought it best to send the passport back. She has since received a new one, with her original picture as it was meant to be. Lagunas said:

"The man that helped her was super helpful," he said. "I think he pulled up the photo on his computer and also had a laugh - told her it was obviously their mistake, and provided her with all the info to get it taken care of."
