Nurses and doctors at a hospital in Fort Worth, Texas are taking a breather after delivering a record number of babies over two days.
The Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center reported that, starting on June 26, 48 babies were born in 41 hours - an average of more than one baby an hour.
“That’s definitely a record,” Dr. Jamie Erwin told CBS News.

The boom caught many staff by surprise as the majority of babies in Texas are born during the months of July, August and September.
However, Nursing Director Michelle Stemley said everything was under control as the hospital was already gearing up for the busy months.
“We’re ready for this, we’re trained for this,” she said.

Extra staff members were called in and pizza was ordered for those working round the clock.
The mother of one of the babies sung praises for the hospital staff and said she had no idea a record number of newborns were being delivered.
"I didn't even know, the staff was so calm," she said.
The record event has many wondering why the delivery frenzy occurred in the first place.
“There's always talk about full moon, we definitely had a big full moon this week," Dr. Jamie Erwin said.
"Maybe there is something to that as well, maybe not. But it's always a busy time of the year."
A June/July 2018 birth points to a conception in September 2017. During that time, Texas experienced heavy rainfall, with some studies suggesting that a majority of people prefer to have sex when it it’s raining.
One study* showed that 83 per cent of Americans rate rainy days and nights as the best time to have sex.
Regardless, the mother of two-day-old Isaiah, who was one of the 48 babies delivered, said she couldn’t be happier after giving birth to her son and holding him in her arms.
"It was a tearful moment but it was joyful," she said. "I had a rush of joy."
Isaiah was the most popular name among the group of 48 babies.
