Aussie stars share their go-to Christmas presents
'Tis the season of gift giving!
As Christmas Day nears, the pile of presents under the tree continues to grow. While we're told "it's the thought that counts", it can still be tough trying to decide on the perfect present for loved ones.
Here, some of our favourite Nine stars on what their go-to gifts are this Christmas.

"The kids love their toys and gadgets, and for the wife, I have to go big or else."
Darren Palmer, The Block judge
"It has to be tailored to the recipient. It's always best if you know the person well, but I guess if you need some good secret Santa ideas, it depends on the budget.
"I'm in love with my AirPods Max, as they're brilliant for air travel and blocking out noise whilst working. Dr Naomi Skin has a new LED mask to wear at home called LED IT GLOW and it's a huge hit in our house. Of course, you could always give the gift of a new bed revamp or a jazz up to your sofa with some cushions or bedcovers from my range exclusive to Myer. I highly recommend the Hemp Cotton sheets and covers. They're heaven in the warmer months."

Eddie McGuire, Millionaire Hot Seat presenter
"Wine, golf balls, books."
Livinia Nixon, 9News Melbourne presenter
"A lovely, liquid hand wash for the bathroom… and a very appropriate gift in this COVID era!"

Neale Whitaker, The Block judge
"If I give a gift, I like to make sure it's tailored to the person who will receive it. That said, this year I might be gifting a few items from my new homewares range!"
Lauren Phillips, 9 presenter
"Not really. I love the feeling of giving someone a gift that they really love. So every year it's different."

Monty Dimond, KIIS FM host
"Photos. Always framed photos. No one really prints photos these days cause they are always on our phones, and it's almost a hassle to go and print them out, so a special framed pic is always a winner."
Sami Lukis, 9Honey columnist
"To give as a gift: A bottle of beautiful Aussie gin. We make some of the world's best Gins here in Oz and some of my favourites are from Tassie (especially Sandy Gray Gin). I heard someone once say, 'Gin was invented by the Dutch, refined by the British and perfected by Tasmanians.' It's so true!"

Sarah Abo, 60 Minutes presenter
"I am a TERRIBLE Christmas shopper. I always leave my Christmas shopping to the last minute, even though every year I vow to begin it earlier. I inevitably end up buying scented candles to have as backup in case I've left someone off the Christmas shopping list!"
Shane Crawford, Nine presenter
"When in doubt, JB Hi-Fi card."

Shelly Horton, 9Honey presenter
"My go-to Christmas gift is homemade Rocky Road. I call it Christmas Crack. It is the one thing I can cook. I guess you don't really cook it, you just stir it together, but it is spectacular and it's one people look forward to every year. My secret ingredient is red jelly snakes."
Tracy Vo, 9News Perth presenter
"Candles and gift vouchers."
