Amanda Knox makes her Instagram account public

Former murder suspect Amanda Knox has made her Instagram account public, six years after she returned to the USA – and it's an eclectic insight into her life as a free woman.

Like all good netizens, the 29-year-old's account is jam-packed with pictures and videos of cats, along with snaps of her friends, family, and partner, Christopher Robinson. And, now, it appears she's giving the people what they want:

Among the more curious snaps are shots of Knox dressed as Little Red Riding Hood and flanked by a companion dressed as the Big Bad Wolf. The pictures were taken in Germany's Black Forest.

Knox shot to fame when she was sensationally convicted and then acquitted of the murder of British student and then-roommate Meredith Kercher. Knox and Kercher were living together as exchange students in the town of Perugia, Umbria, in 2007, when Kercher was sexually assaulted and murdered.

Knox was dubbed "Foxy Knoxy" by local media when she and her then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were convicted of the crimes. They were controversially acquitted in 2011 after police and judicial processes were called into question; later, in 2014, their original convictions were upheld before the pair were definitively acquitted by Italy's Supreme Court in 2015.

Knox has always maintained her innocence.

She reportedly began dating Robinson in 2016, with the pair moving in together (with their cats) a few months later. If Knox's Instagram account is anything to go by, the pair have travelled extensively together, returning to Europe in early June.

Currently, she has just over 3000 followers.
