Budget musical instruments released by Aldi just in time for the school term

Aldi is once again proving to be the saving grace of families across Australia with its new range of special buys, released just in time for the back-to-school supply rush.

Featuring a plethora of musical instruments at low prices, this week's Special Buys — available for sale on Wednesday February 2 — also includes must-haves for the family's furry friends as well as clothing.

The star of the show is a light-up keyboard, available for $99.99, which has a lighting simulation keyboard comprised of 61 keys, includes record, playback and music player functions and comes with a power adaptor.

Another key steal is an acoustic guitar for $69.99, with customers having the option to choose between a full-size 39-inch Nylon or 40-inch Steel String guitar, or three-quarter-sized 36-inch Nylon or Steel String guitars.

A variety of guitar accessories are also up for grabs, with cases, strings, straps, cables, cabos, hand-finger exercisers and tuners available from $9.99.

Other instruments on offer include trumpets, flutes and clarinets, all of which come with a case and cleaning cloth.

Families already be set for equipment when it comes to their musical prodigies may yet find their treasure in this week's pet supply specials, which includes 28-pack Dentastix for dogs at $11.99, pig ears for $17.99 and cat food from $9.99.

Pet care products, including two-in-one pet shampoo and conditioner and pet bed spray, are also on offer from $4.99 each.

Plus-size clothing for men and women — including denim jackets from $24.99, jeans from $13.99, cargo shorts from $14.99 and shirts from $12.99 — will also be available for purchase from Wednesday in select stores in South Australia and Western Australia, but some items are delayed.
