ALDI makes summer more delightful for just $4

The gift that keeps on giving — ALDI's Special Buys — is back to give us the post festive season spoils of summer.

A range of entertainment and kitchen appliances will be available at slashed prices come December 30 from the budget supermarket's notorious deal.

With the interest of satisfying our taste buds, the selection includes an ice cream marker for $39,99, a waffle maker at $14.99 and assorted cooking utensils to bake up a storm to welcome us into the New Year.

The ice cream maker has even had a futuristic update, equipped with a 1.5 l capacity and LCD display screen, as well as a digital timer and detachable mixing paddle and freezing bowel.

Assorted ice cream gadgets and utensils for preparing and serving frozen treats will also be included in the sale for  $3.99, available in various fruit shapes - from watermelon moulds to bananas.

If you're looking to host a COVID-safe and budget friendly party, various items vital for a good night - including reusable straws and serving instruments are for sale in packs of six and eight for under four dollars.

ALDI's Special Buys' welcome into the new year even has something for those of us looking to turn a leaf on our health and fitness goals, slashing the prices of nut mixes, with a whole kilo of different legumes available for under $20.

Considering Aussie summers tend to attract some unwanted guests, the supermarket has a special "pest patrol" section, selling bug zappers, fly catchers and citronella candles to ward off bugs at reduced costs.

Say goodbye to seasonal mosquito bites for significantly less.

On the company website, ALDI warned some of their products may suffer delays or shortages due to the ongoing pandemic.

"Despite our careful planning, we apologise if selected items may sell out on the first day due to unexpected high demand," the company site reads.

"In the event of unexpected high demand, ALDI Stores reserves the right to limit purchases to reasonable quantities."

The statement continued to note the company are working "around the clock" to fix shipping delays.

"We know it is frustrating and we are sorry for any and all inconveniences. These delays mean that the below Special Buys may not be in store on the advertised on sale date," the statement reads.

"We are trying our best to limit these delays and we will make products available in store as soon as possible."
