Humpbacks treat whale watchers to stunning triple breach

Now this is incredible.

Whale watchers were treated to one heck of a spectacle off the coast of Nova Scotia, where three humpbacks leaped out of the water like a team of synchronised swimmers.

Edmond Giroux was a passenger on an Ocean Explorations Zodiac Whale Cruises boat, being in just the right place to film the stunning display.

The vision was recorded in mid-August, but started going viral after being posted to the Ocean Explorations Facebook page.

There, it clocked up more than 520,000 views.

“The whales surfaced after a dive and swam and/or drifted over to us,” an Oceans Explorations spokesperson said.

“One interacted with us before joining the other two, logging for many minutes before the take off.

“We did not ever approach the whales or wake them up.”
