Mesmerising machine sucks up hundreds of blueberries in seconds
Blueberries grow from bushes, a revelation that's not anywhere near as surprising as learning how pineapples grow (more about that in a bit).
And you don't need any big old equipment to farm them: this French-Canadian woman sucks up hundreds of berries in seconds using this pocket-sized contraption. (Pocket-sized relative to most farm machinery, that is.)
Since Marie Josee Trudel posted the strangely mesmerising footage to Facebook, it's been viewed 3 million times. Maybe it's gone viral because people admire the machine's low-key efficiency, or maybe it's gone viral because the contraption is so damn satisfying.
Or maybe people just really, really like blueberries.
Back to the pineapples, which sprout not from trees, but from the ground in crazy-looking bushes:
If you plant the spiky crown of a pineapple into the ground, it will grow a new pineapple. Weird.
