Samsung just started major beef with Apple with its latest commercial

There's nothing quite like watching a good spat.

But when there are real people involved, it's hard not to feel something for one or both of the parties concerned.

Even with our emotional distance and technologically-aided isolation to avoid catching feelings, we still find ourselves affected by pesky empathy.

But when it's two multi-million-dollar tech companies beefing, we can enjoy it without guilt.

So please, sit back and drink in this savage trolling of Apple from the folk at Samsung.

They posted the ad to the Samsung Mobile USA YouTube channel on Sunday and by Tuesday it had clocked up more than 4.4 million views.

It also prompted A LOT (we're not really supposed to use capital letters in such a way, so please appreciate the emphasis) of chatter on Twitter.

If you have not been exposed to enough sass and snark this week, we encourage you to type "Apple" and "Samsung" into the Twitter search option, put on the kettle and enjoy a strong cup of tea.

Because Samsung people and Apple people are like the Holden and Ford fans of the millennial generation, people were passionate.

So maybe it wasn't such a harmless fray to watch in on.
