Passengers watch as suitcase runaway speeds across tarmac

There are plenty of things you don’t want to see at an airport.

For example, you’re not going to feel overly comfortable if you look out and see a turbine dangling from the wing.

Not ideal.

A suitcase escaping from luggage handlers sounds like something to get extremely cross about, but when it looks like this, it’s hard not to chuckle.

Like, you’d hope this isn’t your bag, but you probably wouldn’t mind too much if it was.

This suitcase is twirling madly towards freedom, whizzing away from the plane with great speed.

At one point, you find yourself internally cheering the inanimate object on, rooting for it to make its great escape like a wild brumby who refuses to be broken in.

This suitcase has wheels, and they’re made for rollin’.

Rollin’ to freedom.

Unfortunately, we don’t have many details about the bag, its story or how it came to be rolling for its life on airport tarmac.

We imagine it’s an epic and emotional tale.

But, sadly, it looks like the suitcase was eventually wrangled by is captor/luggage handler, who can be seen pulling up in a baggage cart at the end of the video.

Even though it was returned to captivity, we hope its spirit remained unbroken.
