Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins makes red carpet appearance for first time since split
Emma Watkins has made her first red carpet appearance since announcing her split from Lachlan Gillespie.
The 28-year-old put her yellow uniform away for a gorgeous red dress and a pink flower crown in her hair for the Women of the Future Awards in Sydney on Wednesday. Other notable Aussies in attendance included Georgie Gardner, Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Lisa Wilkinson.

Four weeks ago, Watkins and Gillespie announced their separation after two years of marriage (and, prior to that, two years of dating). The pair, who met and fell in love after being cast in The Wiggles, maintained they would continue to work together in the children's music group.
"We have, and continue to share, the most beautiful life together, but we wanted to let you know that privately for the last six months we have been navigating through a trial separation, and we have made the decision to separate as a couple," Watkins shared in an emotional statement on Instagram on August 3.
Later, Gillespie expressed his continual love and support for Watkins.
"We are the best of friends, we always have been, that's how it started," Gillespie told The Daily Telegraph. "To be able to realise as a couple that we were going different ways and to stay as close as we are is a real testament, I think, to both of us. I love her more now than anything and she loves me more than anything."
The children's entertainers have kept their promise, performing together since their split.
Last week, the former couple took to the stage at St Marys Rugby League Club in Sydney to resume their Emma and Lachy Tour.
