Why is Beyonce walking past a burning building? The star releases a creepy new trailer for 'Lemonade'

She's been plotting something huge for a while, and now we're even closer to finding out what it is.

Beyonce has just released a new trailer for her enigmatic project 'Lemonade'. With a distinct American Horror Story aesthetic, it shows a darker side to the 34-year-old artist and also references her deep Southern roots with some strong voodoo vibes that first popped up in her acclaimed "Formation" video from February.

So, is Lemonade a new album? A concert special? The name of an unborn baby Bey? Naturally, fans have taken to Twitter to speculate, and collectively lose their Beyonce-addled minds.

We're not totally sure what it is either, but all will be revealed on HBO on April 23 at 9pm - that's 11am Sunday in Australia. 

Since dropping the mind-blowing "Formation" in February, fans have been awaiting Queen Bey's next move with bated breath…looks like it's going to be a big one!
