WATCH: <i>The Hunger Games: Mockingjay</i> reimagined as a rom-com

It's the twist we never saw coming.

Taking the title of the latest Hunger Games movie literally, TV host Jimmy Kimmel decided to play the proverbial "mockingjay" and, well, mock the hell out of it.

The results? "Cupid's Arrow", a film for those who might not be interested in a movie about teenagers murdering each other. Check out the hilarious new Mockingjay "trailer", above.

Seasoned Hunger Games stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson are joined by a new addition, Katherine Heigl, in what promises to be a laugh-out-loud, cry-out-loud love story with enough up-beat ‘60s pop music to make you want to dance in your seats.

Hey, Kimmel's got a point… we'd totally watch that!
