Hold up! Haven't we seen this before? Robert Pattinson having sex in the back of a limo. But his time it's with Julianne Moore in the first trailer for Maps to the Stars.

Check out the first trailer for David Cronenberg's racy new flick above, in which the 27-year-old also makes out with Aussie actress Mia Wasikowska.

Rob sure is embracing these sexier, more adult roles. Trying to get rid of that teen Twilight stigma are you, R-Pattz?

The star knew he'd be involved in such raunchy scenes, when he signed onto the David Cronenberg project back in 2012.

After all, he also shot sexy limo scenes for the director's arthouse thriller Cosmopolis that same year. Typecast much?!

Not that we're complaining. But, this latest offering from the Fly director is more than just steamy sex. Yes, really!

In Maps to the Stars, Cronenberg teases the darker side of Hollywood and what it reveals about Western culture.

The Canberra-born 24-year-old Mia, also gets to explore her darker side, in her role as Agatha, a girl who has just been released from a mental home where she was treated for criminal pyromania. Much to the horror of her father (played by John Cusack).

Julianne plays Hollywood actress Havana Degrand, who unknowingly hires the pyromaniac as her personal assistant. Cue the horror... Oh and apparently the lesbian sex scenes...

Maps to the Stars hits cinemas later this year.
