Orlando Bloom has opened up about those Selena Gomez dating rumours running rampant this week.

Since splitting with wife Miranda Kerr earlier this year, Orlando has also been linked to another Aussie babe, Erica Packer.

But he insists the pair are purely platonic, revealing last month that the friendship goes way back.

"I've known her since I was 19 back in London," he told Sydney Confidential. "I've known her before she was married to James, when she was married to James and afterwards, and we are all mates."
